I went to my first Kundalini yoga class sometime in the 1990’s in Seattle, WA. My good friend invited me to tag along with her. I remember we did some cat-cow, and some great stretches, maybe some breath of fire. I surely don’t recall a very profound experience though.
It wasn’t until 2003 when I attended a Kundalini Yoga class with Gurmukh at Golden Bridge Yoga, on 3rd street in Los Angeles, that I felt a profound meet and greet with my own eternal soul. And wow, from that moment on, I was hooked on invoking that experience. I had been experiencing an identity crisis, and was on a very unconscious path in life, or so it seemed. I was on a Karmic path to no where good, no where inspirational. But little did I know, my own sub-conscious was working hard behind the scenes. My subconsious knew, that the Divine Teacher inside was awakening and evolving. The more yoga I did, the more my consciousness grew, and the more my heart opened. I was finally prepared to take on the opportunities presented to me daily.
